Georgia Hosts B2B Roadshow in Tashkent and Presents Winter Flights to Tbilisi
The Georgian National Tourism Administration held a presentation for the Uzbekistani travel industry, while Centrum Air announced its winter flight program from Tashkent to Tbilisi.

On October 8, 2026, the Georgian National Tourism Administration hosted the "Emotions are Georgia Uzbekistan Roadshow 2026" professional roadshow in Tashkent. The B2B event brought together Georgian tour operators and hotel representatives with their Uzbekistani counterparts to foster cooperation, according to UzDaily.
The Georgian delegation to Tashkent included Maka Makatsaria, a representative of the Georgian National Tourism Administration, alongside diplomats from the Embassy of Georgia in Uzbekistan. Attendees were presented with a promotional showcase highlighting the country's premier travel destinations. Representatives from the Georgian side emphasized the importance of strengthening direct business ties between companies of both nations.
During the roadshow, Uzbekistani carrier Centrum Air announced its flight schedule between the two countries. According to the airline, winter flights from Tashkent to Tbilisi operate twice weekly—on Mondays and Fridays. For the summer season, the carrier operates flights to Batumi, where frequencies reached up to five times per week in the summer of 2026.
What this means for the market
- For travel operators in Uzbekistan: winter sightseeing tours to Georgia can be packaged around Centrum Air's regular flights from Tashkent to Tbilisi operating on Mondays and Fridays.
- For travel agents: when booking city breaks and weekend getaways, advisors should take into account the flight schedule at the beginning and end of the working week.
